All over the media, it seems clear that travel needs to be aborted until 2022 or something like that. My days of trawling through a new city and taking copious amounts of photos of interesting doors and windows are currently well into the past. Retrospectively my last few facade aesthetics was in the summer of 2019.Β This was in Budapest, a city of majestic goth visually and a little cold, emotionally.
Aesthetics – Budapest Facade

Hi. Very sturdy structures. But as you say, maybe on the cold side emotionally.

I recognised some of the buildings – we were there for a holiday about five years ago, had a great time, thanks for the memory jogger :- o)..

I love the architecture in Budapest, and I think I may have taken photos of some of the same buildings as you haha! For sure one of my favourites of your photos is the purple roofed building that looks like it’s giving a suspicious side eye.

Oh gosh I had to look again at the purple roofed building and you’re absolutely right, how funny! Indeed the architecture in Budapest is so beautiful isn’t it. Regal and austere. Thanks a lot for dropping by and commenting π

Hello:) Wow these are great shots, love the architecture! You are right, there is a certain vibe of aloofness, of “leave me be” lol present. Well, good thing we can still admire the beauty present from a distance – thanks for this fun virtual trip!
