The regal bearing of the cat family never fails to disarm and magnetise us. Like children, they have such incredibly strong and inherent personality traits almost from birth which is fascinating to observe throughout the years. Maternal and domineering, humble and passive, timid but hopeful, curious and innocent. After spending a few weeks at my parents home, I became an overzealous cat-mother and spent most of my days just watching and photographing four semi-stray cats live their lives from the moment they sought their first meal of the day, to their fun and games with each other thereafter and finally as they settled in their own resting spots for afternoon naps and rest. These are some photographs of our beloved creatures.
